BAYOU BASH RELAY AND HARRA FAMILY PICNIC - APRIL 25, 2026
It's time for the Bayou Bash Relay! Our own race! The Bayou Bash is a 4 person x 2.2 mile relay and is the penultimate race of the HARRA Spring Series.
We strongly encourage all to participate in the race either as a runner or a volunteer (or both)!
When: SATURDAY, April 25th, 4PM (Followed immediately by the HARRA Member Appreciation Family Picnic, which is FREE to all relay runners and HARRA members.
Where: TC Jester Park, 201 T C Jester Blvd, Houston, TX 77018
We need a few volunteers to help with course setup and tear-down, registration, road guarding, and help with the Kids Race.
HARRA also needs help with food distribution for the HARRA Family Picnic. (Contact Susan Cita - [email protected])

RECRUITING LATER: 16th ALEX'S 5K RUN/WALK & KIDS' K, NOVEMBER 7, 2026
Our very own race will have it's 16th edition this year! All of our net race proceeds go to autism charities in our area: Autism Speaks Houston, Avondale House and The Westview School.
If you are not planning to run, please consider volunteering! Positions include course setup and tear down, road guarding, water stop support, and food service. Volunteers receive a shirt, food, drink, and that warm feeling one gets when giving back! Volunteer credit for those who ask.
