BCRR Ongoing Training/Fun Runs
Running with us for the first time? We recommend attending one of our weekly group runs (at Rice University and Memorial Park). We have something for ALL fitness levels. Visitors are always welcome, and membership is not required to drop in. Come visit!

Monday Runs ("Mellow Monday"):
Location: **On the running track directly in front of the Memorial Park Tennis Center** HERE.
Time: **7 PM**
Details: Join us every Monday for a 3 mile casual paced loop around the park. Highly recommended for novice runners or runners new to BCRR. Group usually goes to dinner afterwards.
Wednesday Runs:
Location: First Christian Church parking lot (next to Rice University)
Time: **6:30 PM**
Details: This is a 6.5 mile route, but offers options for shorter distance. Water and Gatorade provided at the start and finish. After the run, approx. 7:30 PM, everyone (runners and non-runners) gather at Rice's Valhalla pub for drinks and socializing.
Friday Speedwork:
Location: Memorial Park Tennis Center (trail in front of the Tennis Center) HERE
Time: 5:30 AM

Sunday Runs:
Location: **Memorial Park Tennis Center** (trail in front of the Tennis Center) HERE
Time: 6:30 AM
Details: Distance is usually 10-12 miles with options for shorter or longer miles. Water and Gatorade will be placed in two locations - Shell Gas Station & Rose Garden.
First Sunday of the month: Bayou Run along Buffalo Bayou to Sabine. Route link

Our top priority is the well-being of our members. If the prevalence of COVID-19 in our community increases, we will accommodate any modifications advised by the municipality to hold a safe group events, which may include cancelation of indoor gatherings, increased social distancing during runs and other mitigation protocols.
If you are feeling ill, have a fever, or have been exposed to an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, please do not attend club runs for 5 days or until test negative.
