How many miles a week do you run? 50-60 mi
How did you come to join Bayou City?: In 1997, Bill Watkins lived in the same neighborhood as I do and he told me about the club and to contact John Phillips and I did and the rest is history.
My proudest running accomplishment is: Ran 11 Marathons in one year and finally after 18 attempts I earned the right to run Boston in 2001.
My favorite training run is: River Oaks.
My favorite race is: Any marathon.
My best distance is: 26.2 miles.
I run because: It keeps me out of trouble and I can't do anything else well physically, except for one other thing????
My philosophy for life is: Work hard and play even harder.
My next goal is: To complete all 50 states marathon ( I have 31 now) and to finish Sunmart 50 miler in less than 9 hours.
Favorite training food: Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches.
When I'm running I think about: What I could be doing if I was not running.
The best running advice I could give would be: Run as much a you like and then run some more.
People would be surprised if they knew I: Really care about children and what our society is doing to protect them.
The top thing on my dream list: Jump out of an airplane.
If I could have been anything, besides my current occupation it would be: A lumberjack.
I would love to spend the day with: Ian Scrager, very contemporary hotel developer or Clint Eastwood.
Other hobbies besides running: Reading.
The most embarrassing thing that has happened to me is: Getting taken out on a cruise ship for saying the wrong thing to the wrong person.
The most profound thing that has happened in my life is: Seeing my daughter, Emma, born.
