How many miles a week do you run? I run about 20 miles per week when warming up for the HARRA Spring series and the tri season.
How did you come to join Bayou City?: I moved back into the city from Crosby and met Joe, who talked me into running with him and then talked me into joining the club. Now, I love being a part of BCRR!
My proudest running accomplishment is: The 1/2 ironman at Buffalo Springs in Lubbock, Texas
My favorite training run is: Doing the Tour de Bayou on the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
My favorite race is: The Bellaire Trolley run because of the cool trolley car trophies.
My best distance is: The 10k but I love to run 5k's..
I run because: It keeps me healthy and happy.
My philosophy for life is: Everyone should be allowed the freedom to live their life the way they desire.
My next goal is: Is this a running goal? My running goal is to improve my time in events. My other goal is to get a job..
When I'm running I think about: Making it to the next mile marker.
People would be surprised if they knew I: Was in the Navy. Also, before most women discovered the thrill of owning and driving their own motorcycle, I was riding my own Harley Davidson throughout the United States.
The top thing on my dream list is: To live and train in the hill country.
If I could have been anything, besides my current occupation it would be: a Librarian or Genealogist
Other hobbies besides running: Motorcycling, biking, swimming, traveling, reading, gardening and genealogy research.
I would love to spend the day with: Ralph Fiennes (my question is: does anyone know who he is?)
