The most embarrassing thing that has happened to me is: Hmm . . . lots to choose from. How about: A few months ago I was teaching class with -- I thought -- a big carton of books at the front of the room. I nonchalantly sat on the box as I explained the lesson, and fell through the lid of an EMPTY carton. I screamed, and my arms and legs were flailing in the air as my students howled with laughter.
The most profound thing that has happened in my life: Raising my two beautiful daughters.
